Echo Problems on Other Cell Phone - Verizon

Is anyone else having a problem where a person on the other end is hearing an echo? At first, I thought it was my wife's S3 as she heard it talking to me, but I did not hear it on my end.

However, I tried calling myself with my work number and that echoes so I am pretty sure it is my S3. I tried tweaking the volume and everything I could find, but the echo happens in all of my tests on cell phones.

This just killed the deal for another Samsung on VZW.

Charge had problems that could be reproduced on a call every single time.

Galaxy Nexus had horrible call quality (like bitrate was cut in 1/2 over a moto phone).

And now the latest Samsung on VZW, they still can't get voice calls right. Everyone was hoping that this would be the phone that Samsung finally gets right. Guess we will have to wait for the next gen S4 to see if they get it!

I'm noticing a slight echo of myself (kind of like the Muppet Babies hearing adults, a whomp whomp type echo, hard to explain haha), but only when talking to someone on another S3. When I talk to friends with different phones, it's crystal clear and sounds like I'm standing right next to them. I'm trying to figure out the reason this is happening.

Keep you guys updated, I'm sending my Galaxy S3 back. One X or iPhone 5 look to be my real alternatives.
As well as problems with echo calling, my screen has broke and at the bottom left corner of the phone my outer frame has cracked.
From the quality of The Galaxy S2, why have Samsung done this? I was confident with my S2, with my S3 it's been like carrying a china cup around.
I'll wait to see what iPhone 5 looks like and if the HTC One X has sorted any battery problems out before making a decision.
I've got my money back off the S3, just no phone at the moment.
