Help Where is the predictive text dictionary?

Firstly, Samsung have totally broken Swype. It was easily the best feature of the S2 (and others) and a real iPhone trumper. But on the S3 it's highly inaccurate, slow to use and comes up with some incredibly odd suggestions.

But my biggest problem is with it automatically saving into the dictionary and then using these as suggestions later. Anyone know how I can reset the user dictionary?

Go into a text field. You will see a keyboard icon in the status bar. Bring down the notification bar and press "Select Input method" then "Configure input methods"..

Press the settings icon next to the Samsung Keyboard, press the word (not the slider) "Predictive text" and scroll down and press "My word list". Hit the "Trashcan" icon in the top right, then select what to delete.

For ME, smartkeyboard was twice as good as everything else I tested

I also tried and liked Smart Keyboard in what I think was my quest to find a keyboard that had cursor arrows.

I eventually settled on Perfect Keyboard which is quite similar to Smart Keyboard if I recall. Have you tried that? I really like it. I prefer the look of the keys to Smart Keyboard and it is similarly very customizable (including the size of the keys). I like that the cursor arrows are hidden until you swipe upwards on the space bar and the keyboard moves up until you swipe down again.

Yes I tried perfect Keyboard. I can't remember the exact result but I didn't like it.

My quest was Cursors, but also important was Keyboard calibration. Smart Keyboard is the closest thing to the HTC IME that I enjoyed on my desire.

Smart Keyboard has themes too.

Well yeah all keyboards on the market beat the stock one. Its subjective though. So "just get swiftkey", not so helpful ;)

For example I thought swiftkey was awful. As in Reallllllly poor. So best advice is try them all and pick what works for you.

oh well,

LOVE swiftkey. any keyboard app that allows me to type several paragraphs with one hand as fast as a pro stenographer because of the predictions is a quality keyboard app.
