My motorola h700 has seen better days. im getting tired of hearing "i cant hear you" "you sound muffled" "are you on a bluetooth" ugh.

i have been looking at getting a JAWBONE ICON. has pretty good reviews out there. Has noise cancellation that seems impressive.

any droid users with one ? i like the size, style, shape...
i know i still wont be able to dial out from it. but at least i can use it during a conversation. :fingers crossed:

i haven't had the best of luck with bluetooths, blueteeth ? lol ;)

What do you use? Incoming sound good? Outgoing quality good?

Thanks!

Jawbones are always well received. Though that is about the only brand I don't own and haven't tried.
I love the Moto flip booms for their utter convenience. But for quality I always go with the Plantronics Voyager line. The V510 (both versions), and now the Voyager Pro. Those headsets are still unmatched in incoming and outgoing audio quality - or at least they are not out-matched by anyone. ;)

One of the best places for Bluetooth headset reviews is the Bluetooth forum over at HoFo. Doesn't really matter what phone you have - a good headset is going to be a good headset on any phone (unless the phone is broken in some way).

Cool. I havent been to that sub-forum in a while. I try to stay away from there else I'll keep buying headsets. ;)
... I used to use the phone a lot more than I do now - so I was big on having the best headset (wired headsets, and then Bluetooth once they became available). I hated it when someone said "what?" ... I used to have something I called the "what" test. :D

I broke down and got the Jawbone Icon a couple of weeks ago. I really like it. The battery life isn't as good as some of my other bluetooth earpieces I have had in the past, but some of the features are pretty great. I haven't even set up the MyTalk or whatever yet.

Two of the basic features I like are being able to hear the battery life at a push of a button and hearing the caller id spoken during an incoming call. Not really sure how exclusive these are... Also, the noise cancellation is awesome. I can drive with the window down and still talk on the phone.

Now, I really never talk on the phone without using it.

The only issue I have had with it, it has, recently, just restarted (only two times) in the middle of a conversation.

Update: Have not had any additional restarts on the headset since.

Oh, I suppose I should mention that the sound quality on both incoming and outgoing ends are great... I suppose that is the most important feature on a headset.

Just be sure to position the the earpiece correctly. The only time I have complaints from people I am talking to is when it is not angled right.
