It's that time again...fantasy football is back!

After some discussion in last years thread, we've decided to move the league to NFL.com this year. They also have a free Android app, and have integrated Google+ hangouts for trash talking and victory bragging.

I'll do my best to keep this post updated as people join and we work out the details for the league.

As of now, it's set for 12 teams, so let's try to fill it up!

I've set the live draft for Sunday August 19th, at 2pm EST but we can pick a time that works for the max number of teams once we fill the 12 spots.

So far, this is the lineup of managers (based on interest in the previous thread - I'll update as more join):

I'm in. NFL.com app looks kind of crappy in my initial look, but hopefully it's not that bad in practice.

What are the default league settings?

Can we start to throw out some draft dates? Right now, I know I can't draft on August 22, 23 24 or 25.

Just a piece of advice though... I would recommend editing the OP, removing the log in info, and PM it to the 12 that are playing.

Just noticed a sweet feature on our league homepage - you can create your own top stories for the main page with images!

If anyone gets spanked during the season, we'll be sure to highlight it, complete with avatar to fill out the embarrassment.

Yeah there seems to be a lot of cool features with NFL.com.

Unfortunately I can't sign in using the app, it is completely unresponsive once it opens. I used the dev email on Google Play for support so hopefully they work out that bug soon

Yeah, I really hope it does too.

I'm not even going to give my input on draft time because my schedule is so random. Any shift, and on call 24/7. Once we get it set I can request the time off if I have 2 weeks notice though, otherwise I'll just make it work as best I can.

The season kicks off Sept 5th, so late August is probably best for the draft.

I've modified the thread for Gnome's post to be on top, seeing how he has the rules and such listed. Sorry for any confusion.

Default settings generally look fine to me.

Anyone else tried out the app? I'm really not sure we'll be able to do anything in the app, if they don't significantly update it.

Considering we all have Android phones, a decent app should be a pretty high priority. If you all feel the same about the app, we could reconsider yahoo.

We also need to recruit a few more teams. I'd really like it if everyone made a decent effort to win their games. It's no fun to have a bye week against a player or doesn't even remove players on byes from their starting lineup.
