Help Moment is too slow for Google Voice?

Can anyone use Google Voice on their Moment? When I get an incoming call, it takes so long for the call to come through that by the time I try to press 1 to accept the call, its going to voicemail.

I've tried it several times and its physically impossible to answer the phone, listen to who's calling, get the number pad to come up (after waiting for the screen to wake up) and press 1 before it sends the caller to voicemail.

I really like this phone, but its lag is wearing on me (and I'm running one of Joeykrim's speedy kernals). I hope it speeds up with the upgrade to 2.1. If not I might have to switch to a Blackberry (blasphemy!! ;)) until Sprint comes out with a faster Android phone.

Wow, so for all of you, the phone rings, you answer, then hit 1 to accept the call and you have enough time to do that before it goes to voicemail?

I figure if I turn off the call announce feature then it probably wouldn't be a problem, but I kinda like that feature for business calls.

I'll try turning it off and seeing how it works then. But it annoys me a little that I can't use one of the features of GV on an Android phone. bleh.

Does GV when fowarded to your sprint phone come in as a land-line number or Cell?

cell calls your gv number. Does that count as Cell mins?

Land-Line calls your GV number. Is that cell or land-line mins?

Whenever I call someone using GV, it shows up on the receivers phone as my GV number. When calls come in to my cell from GV, they show up as the number calling.

When your cell calls GV to make a call, it does count as minutes on your cell phone, from your Carrier...GV does not charge minutes for nationwide US calls.

If a landline calls GV and it goes to your cell, it will count against your carriers minutes, it's no different than a typical call to your cell.

I have the Data Everything plan. I would like to know if the incoming calls being delivered by GV are considered incoming cell mins or anything else. I have 450 non cell mins a month. Just wondering if GV would chew those up if I only handed out my GV number vs. my real cell number.

I'm not too sure. I would assume so, if the GV call is being treated as a landline call. If the call from GV is being treated as a Cell call, then no since you also have any mobile, any time.

Sorry I'm not more specific. That might be a good question for the sprint forums though.

Calls to or from GV are treated as land line calls, so they use your minutes.
