Help My phone did a self-factory reset????

Hello,

I am new to the forums, I never rooted my phone and have had some problems with the launcher that would automatically not let me do a darn thing when starting or restarting. I had to download launcher pro and that seemed to help as I only used that as my launcher. Then I went to use an app and it had issues. So I restarted as it was paused and stuck. Same thing and I took out my battery. The phone then loaded using the htc launcher which it was never supposed to again.... and now it will not read the sd card, the UID message comes up and no apps that I downloaded before, all of my phone contacts, messages, everything gone... not sure how this is even possible. I checked what space I had left and it said I have tons...

You aren't the only one it has happened to; sorry to say the only solution is to perform an actual factory reset on the phone.

Thanks for joining the forums :D
