The "Ofiicial" TB OTA 2.1

They finally made messaging they way it should be! SOOOO WORTH FLASHING OVER THE 1st 2.1 Leak!

I got an especially long text today... one that woulda been broken into several messages on 1.5 1st 2.1 leak.... I got 3 or 4 msg notifiacations and one long text message!

then I went to reply and noticed... in the upper right

160/1... which I can only Assume means that I was @ 160 chars of the 1st message which means they really made it like every other phone I've used! Sooo Happy!

Also I've been bouncing back and forth between stock and Handcent... never turned off Notifications in stock messenger.. Looks like the fixed the awake time bug too. the phone has been sleeping with stock notifcation...

SOOOOO Worth the upgrade!

The OP is obviously a BB convert.

Go over to Crackberry and just peruse the forums over there and you will see everyone trying to be "The Official" thread for everything. It's almost like a game for them over there to see who is first, and God forbid 2 people post the same thing twice. If that happens "The Official" war starts.

For the most part this community seems a lot more civilized. That is until someone says they have a leaked 2.1. Then all bets are off. :D

Trying to figure out why the OP couldn't have added to one of the numerous Official threads in which people are posting their experiences but as to not be a complete ass, I'll add to discussion.

I find that my awake time is about the same in this build as it was in the old one. Right around 50% but some believe that the phone stays awake while plugged in. I haven't actually logged the time to see if this is correct or not. Has anyone else paid attention?

...and it makes me wonder...

I have it too and it REALLY pisses me off. Regardless of others claiming it happened in 1.5, it had never happened to me.

No mic or speaker problems on my 1.5 either.

This is one of those issues that, because it is being reported across 1.5 and both leaks of 2.1, makes me wonder if it could be a hardware issue; some sort of intermittent short in the circuitry or something of that nature. In other words, bad phone?
