im using 2.1 and swype beta... just but remember to back it up

Out of curiosity, how do you feel about the "Attention. This input method may be able to collect all the text you type, including personal data like passwords...etc." I had used swype briefly on 1.5, but noticed this warning as I was enabling this input method on 2.1 (version 2). I'm reasonably sure it's nothing, and I can't remember ever texting anyone my credit card information, or passwrods, but just wondered.

Actually you can delete any words from the dictionary by highlighting them and clicking the SYM key (I do it randomly but rarely).

And the app recognizes when your in a "password" masked field and doesn't store those words.

I love swype :)

Thank you, I wasn't aware of that. It was my concern in the "live" fields where you enter passwords, not necessarily text messages. Thanks for the tip.
