$50 Boost refill for $40!!

Kamel. This place is legit. Or it was yesterday. I bought $120 worth of pins. When I first started this thread I'd bought $60 worth of pins. After this thread I got more pins. So I've used them a few times already. They're working nicely. My second order I got my pins within 10 minutes. I do not think it is an automated system. I think there is someone sitting behind the site actually sending out the pins by hand.

Hooligan77. Yes you can load up your account. I usually put $100 into my account and it is good for 3 months worth of payments. I'm on the $35 plan now. Just stack the money in your account and it'll be used as necessary. Just do not go overboard.

Just bought one $50...will report back

UPDATE: Received PIN in 16 minutes and loaded Boost account for $50 without any problems. I also checked my credit card and the pending transaction is for $40, just like it should be. This is such a great deal it actually got me to stop lurking and start posting. Thanks kolosus!

You're welcome ZingBot.

Question. You said that it was charged to your CC. Meaning that you don't have a Paypal account? I've used paypal before and sidestepped my account by using a credit card. How did that go for you? How did the pin reach you given that your cc info was used and there was not email account attached to it? Did they ask you for an email?

I used the "checkout with PayPal" button on the website, but then I had to enter my CC info...I guess because I didn't have a CC saved on my PayPal account. So it appeared to be a normal PayPal transaction.

I checked my CC activity right away since that is actually what I have to pay. I wanted to see if I really was being charged $40. Of course it's just a pending transaction for now since it was so recent.

The PIN came to my PayPal email. I received the usual email confirmations from PayPal and the seller too.

In addition to the $10 off the re-boost value, I also saved over $5 in state sales tax. Love this deal!

Forgot to mention that I don't have a bank account linked to PayPal either.

Thanks, you just saved me $14 ($10 + tax)... I won't need this card though after it takes out the payment next month because I'll be dropping to $45 a month...

Btw, if I get another phone, will they charge me $55 again? I'm already on the $55 month plan but currently paying $50...
You should use it anyway. You'll get $50 into your account but when the time comes for Boost to take your money they'll only take the $45, the other $5 will remain on your account and go towards your next payment. Why would you go back to paying full price for your refills? I stack mine. I currently have over $100 in my account, and this is not the first time I've had that either, Boost will take the amount necessary and leave the rest and so on.

As for your next question. The shrinkage you've gathered will stay on your account as long as your account is active. So if you move to a different phone the $5 you got will stay with you. If you move to a BB your payments will go up by $5 but only becasue your base pay for BB is $60 and not $55. In the same way if you move to a dumb phone your pay will go down by $5 because of the base pay. Hope that made sense.

@Hooligan77: You should load it into your account. Why wait? Its not like Boost will take all your money because you put it there and its not like your balance will expire or something like that. In my case with such a deep discount, and the seller knowing the pin, I was afraid the seller might change his mind and cancel the pin or sell the pin to another person. I mean we do not know anything about this dude. Or even that he is a dude!!! Once loaded into my account I feel much safer.

I agree. Definitely use the PIN and get the $ into your Boost account now to reduce the chance of any funny business. You don't actually know if the PIN you receive is legit until you do it.

I thought most people called them that. I mean WW1 wasn't WW1 until WW2. The dumb phone wasn't that until the smart phone. The term in the cell industry for those phones might be feature phone. I know I didn't coin the term as I read it else where... just not sure where.

Anyways guys. I wanted to let folks know that if you're buying the pins and activating them SUCCESSFULLY then let us know. Make a post. That way if this deal goes sour everyone can know before others jump into the same boat not knowing that the boat is sinking. This is an awesome deal... but the deal is so awesome that suspicions of foul play are not unfounded! Take care.

It seems though, that you can't use the credit for data..only talktime, games and texts? I'm looking long and hard at Boost/Sprint, people have said Boost/Sprint is the most reliable prepaid carrier...and after ATT pretty much bricking my phone for paying late...I would like an alternative. Plus, I'm getting tired of paying 100.00 + fees. month.

So far, so good for me. I've had no issues. Purchase/Pin delivery within an hour/addition of minutes all smooth.

He did raise the price from $15 to $16 for the $20 pin but he knew he would still get more customers because it's such a great deal.

I don't think this is right. The PIN from the seller just puts $ in your Boost account. What you can do on your phone depends on what type of plan you are on (Talk & Text vs. Android vs. Blackberry). My next payment isn't due until 9/13 so I can't confirm that Boost has accepted the funds as a payment, but my account definitely has been credited with $50 from the PIN and it's sitting there ready for 9/13 to come. Also, I have received text saying..."your next payment will be $50...and your current balance is $50."

NICEGOALEH...check around and make sure Sprint has good service in you area. If so, then go for Boost or VM! If not, then don't do it.

ZingBot even before this I used to put $100 into my account at a time. The balance would sit in my account till it comes time for Boost to take the money. They took the money and when the next bill would be greater than the balance on hand I'd add another $100.

Your balance reflects what you paid for. When the time comes you'll be charged the necessary amount and the balance left in your account. Do not panic.

At the moment I have a little less than $200 in my account. The reason I've got that much is because my balance was reaching low and I added $100 but then I found this site and I just couldn't pass it up. So I put another $60 into my account.

Did I mention that my monthly bill is now $35? This money is going to last a while. My only concern is that after 90 days of not putting money into my account I hope Boost doesn't gobble my money because their TOS states that there must be some sort of money put into the account every 90 days... Worst case I'll put some token amount into my account just to keep from having to find out the hard way.
