Ok i cannot believe i did this i was trying to take off a cheap ass plastic snap on case that was being impossible. So the little flat head screwdriver got it off but slipped in the process i even wrapped the head of the screw driver with duct tape but that was no help. Do you guys think that there is like nail polish or something like that i went through my Girlfriends collection of nail polish she didn't have any that matched the metallic black color.
It just bugs me that it happened even though it is nothing major i guess it is just my ocd torturing my brain or something lol. Anyways do you guys know of any paint product or something that is close to the color that i could just apply on??????? Your help is greatly appreciated
Below is a pic of the mishap see where the blue rectangle is i know this is petty but it is just i
don't know it just feels shitty. To bad i am past the 30 day exchange or return policy.

I SOOOOO identify with you on this. I scratched my 4 month old Vivid the exact same way,in the exact same place, only with a kitchen knife, and it bothered me so much that I gave it to my daughter (she needed a new phone anyway) and got a brand new S3 a few weeks ago.:)
The only way you might match the paint is to check at an auto supplies store that carries those little bottles of touch up paint. They have all colors of metallic paint. If you do this though, I recommend that you apply the tiniest bit, and if it doesnt look right, use a soft cloth to wipe it away before it sets. Good Luck.

ya on my way home from the gym second day with the design.... on my scooter with phone in my gym shorts pocket... fell out luckily the screen was untouched like at alll but a ding or do on the corners.. and then on my glass night stand it slides off and hits the bed frame 3x and gets 3 dings on edge.... so i put an otterbox commuter and a fingerprint screen protector best set up

I recommend this, but use a toothpick to put the paint on the scratch, just to make sure you dont use too much paint

I dropped my crackberry from work, and it somehow landed on top of my evo (which was sitting on my table) and dinged the edge.... a day after, i was sitting down on break with my phone on my lap, and it fell when i stood up and left a nasty ding on the same corner.
i tried applying a VERY small dab of black sharpie on the dings.... it helped a bit but it still pretty obvious.
I suggest the touch-up paint idea, or just live with it... OR buy a new evo :p and sell your old one on craigslist. you'll probably lose a bit of money in the process, but you'll have a new (unscratched) phone.
