Help tethering with Moment phone

I am totally frustrated..... have the new samsung moment and cannot seem to tether. I have already downloaded PDAnet to phone...I have downloaded PC studio to my laptop andalso tried downloading drivers from Junefabrics.....drivers don't seem to be downloading. When I get to the part that says to plug in my phone i get an error code 103 /104. I am kind of a moron when it comes to the real technical stuff with my computer so I don't know what I am doing wrong. need serious help. running windows Vista (32 bit) want to use my moment as modem....

you must uninstall all samsung drivers/programs from the computer in the device manager

including the CL14 updater
then install PDAnet on the computer
it will tell you when to hook up the phone

this is info from a friend with the moment ....
