Help So March 26th Just another RUMOR?

So its the middle of the afternoon exactly 6:55 pm pacific time and no update.....has anybody gotten anything? ...So i take it that march 26th was just another hoax or rumor to keep us guessing lol tomorrow i am ging to post a thread saying it comming out on the first and people can believe me and the say APRIL FOOLS....

Yeah, I went into the Sprint store and got the update right then and there.

The Sprint guy there said they finally got 2.1 working a few hours ago, and low and behold I walked out about 2hrs ago with the all new CL14!

For what it is worth, there seems to be a leak about a maintenance release for HTC Hero around April 9th. If Sprint is still talking about Mtce releases for 4/9/2010, it is not realistic to expect Android 2.1 any time soon.

yeah me too heh heh I couldn't get cl14 to upload here at home so I went to the Sprint Store and it took them all of 10 minutes. I used Sprite2 Beta to back everything up to my SD card-- Of course to no avail since I had to go to the Market and d/l and install EVERYTHING all over since restore didn't work that I could notice.

It's funny how theres a rumor of the update coming out about once a month.

The first one was in Feb. now the march one just came and went. So now April is starting to float around.

I think they're doing this so we all go "well, another month isn't THAT long to wait"

Meanwhile when it finally comes out it'll be 6 months later.

First of all, the March 26th thing was a rumored date for the Hero (also not true). The original rumor thread over at XDA or wherever it was always said the Moment 2.1 update would be coming later (if anyone actually bothered to read the entire thread). There was never a rumored 2.1 release for the Moment on the 26th.

Second, I would rather wait and get a release with minimal bugs than to have Sprint and Samsung try and rush something that turns out to be crap.
