Android Hidden Menu (com.android.hiddenmenu)

i have taken the liberty of mapping out the prevail's hidden menu list.
if someone could provide a basic definition of each menu/function, i'm sure that it would clarify the differences between the specific data/debug functions. i could use the knowledge as well.

TO FIND THE HIDDEN MENU, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ACCESS ACTIVITES FROM YOUR HOME SCREEN. ADW LAUNCHER WORKS FINE, AND IS FREE ON AN.MARKET.

AT THE HOME SCREEN, ON ADW.LAUNCHER, PRESS AND HOLD FOR 3 SEC. TO GET THE SUBMENU. SELECT CUSTOM SHORTCUT. SELECT PICK ACTIVITY, AND SCROLL UNTIL YOU LOCATE .COM.ANDROID.HIDDENMENU. AND EXPAND THE TREE.
THE FOLLOWING IS AVAILABLE: (note:because there are several menus named "data", i have identified them individually as 'data*1/d*1)

Btw, i made the mistake of opening a menu option, not realizing that i would be clearing the data entry, and backed out. upon rebooting, my phone wanted to hands free activate, had no radio signal, and would not debug.

i have since fixed it (barely+thank god) but if you are just poking around MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE "VIEW" SUBMENU, AND NOT "EDIT". 179 bucks is too much for a doorstop.

Hi,

I have an HTC One V and the code for accessing hidden menu is not working. Even by shortcut method I dont find any package by name of com.android.hiddenmenu.

Plz suggest some way as I have to verify if my phone is refurbished or new as HTC has replaced my phone.

Hi,

you are in the SAMSUNG Prevail section. Might want to post your problem in the HTC section.....

Lol. This is your problem. But yeah jump over to http://androidforums.com/htc-one-v/
