Here is the root for your samsung repp.

Here another rooting way for the Repp I made.

You have to have Reppcwm installed Link:Cwmfixed

Place RepprootCWM.zip in root of sdcard.Boot into recovery by holding vol down + home+ + power and wait for cwm to boot and select install zip from sdcard with the home button then choose zip from sdcard.Find the RepprootCWM.zip select it.Then select yes install RepprootCWM.zip and wait.When it is done just reboot and you have root hooray!

Are you using windows and run it as admin and have usb drivers installed for your phone ?
Did you redownload the files and try again?
You also need to select the ops file first and click one package on the top left side then a yellow check box will appear on the left top then click start and wait for your phone to reboot.

If you can at least get odin to work You can use the Reppcwm recovery that I just made and uploaded.
Later I will have a rooted stock uploaded for easier rooting.

I don't know if you were aware of this, but the Samsung Repp's international cousin is the Gio. There's a couple of ROMs you might want to try porting, check out XDA.

Likewise I'm pretty sure that there'd be an interest for the "vanilla" non-TouchWiz ROM I think this phone runs.

It might take a little while to see it will work for the repp. The admire is a closer match then the gio. cause the mount points are close to the same and the nand partition layout for the ops from the admire is the same as the repp.But I might be able to get it to work since I have been learning how to unpack the boot.img and recovery.img and repack them with success.As you can tell cause I got cwm to work for the repp.

Thanks for the help, I'm rooted now. Nice to see some development for this phone now, I was having a hell of a time finding any sort of documentation on it.

Hi, I installed the recovery but I keep getting the "installation aborted". It can't open the file and says "(bad)" What do I do? I'm trying to root my friends Repp.

Anyone have a CWD backup for the Repp R680? I am both newb & noob to the rooting scene and deleted my backup when I factory reset my phone. Any help will be appreciated. I'm gonna spam this message until I get my 10 posts then I'll post a new thread. Sorry mods! My family is without a phone until I fix this!
