Rom Installation:
Wipe Data, Cache, and system (optional but recommended, this will be the first question if you have FCs or random reboots)
Flash the ROM
Flash GApps found HERE
Reboot into the system (first boot will take several minutes)

hey 2fast4u88 the rom is amazing. I just flashed it right now and had one major problem with it,it does not work on a GSM network. I live in india and as evo design 4g is a world phone i use it here on GSM,but in this rom there is no option for a GSM network to connect.It just has some cdma options...please help me with this big issue..other than that rom is great...great work...help me fix my problem..thank you!!

Just a few things I noticed

Any voice search (google now and voice dial) does not pick up voice on the initial startup. The mms is set for uscc and I know that's what you use but its a pita for us boost users. What are the apn settings for boost?

I'm sure he'll get the carrier things sorted out once he's gotten comfortable with what ever setup he had going when building the new rom and such.

I'll wait a little bit until Video Recording is working. I have used the video camera quite often and would certainly be an issue for me. Bluetooth...nah won't miss that one one bit.

One question though. does boot sounds work? I've always been erked by this new phone not having a power on sound. The stock rom had it disabled and I'm unsure if any of the other roms have it on or not.

One thing I've encountered is that Wimax is dead. In nonsense ROMs I'd just use a toggle to get 4g going, but all my toggles say that the device is not 4g compatible, so I guess it's not reading the wimax radio.

Gsm and wimax isn't put into the rom so that is the issue with it not being there. When more stuff is fixed those will be added till then they won't be. Voice should and will work on boot as I test that when the mic was fixed for speaker and regular. Voice search should also work on boot if it doesn't I am not sure but isn't rom related. Apn should stick though the apn is in the rom for all 3 carriers. The build.prop needs edited for the correct mnc numbers for boost or sprint for the right apn to load. Branding is because the builds are for my carrier, where to change it you need to if I recall add the right eri to system/etc or add it to the framework-res.

As for the boot sound sense supports it and not sure on this. I don't have time to test it nor is it a feature of cm10.

Its okay man! Take ur time until everything is fix and wimax could b added ... this rom looks awesome in my evo design 4g from boost:thumbup:

No worries -- I just wanted to make sure you were aware. It gets fixed when it gets fixed -- other than that truly amazing ROM.

Another thing i noticed isnt working well is Panorama pictures.

Seams the mic for google now isnt working also.

Fm radio may work but what from what I seen is cm no longer has a native app. You may try one off the market to see what happens though. As for mic in google now, I will need to look at. You have a link to the app?

Its the google now app that came with it Or with gapps not sure, but I am going to try to reinstall clean and see how it works after reinstalling.

ok after reinstalling now it works partialy, first time clicking the mic it will not hear me but sometimes it would work second time after it timed out first time, but if i go to home screen then back to it it wouldnt hear me again untill second time i click most of the time, but other times not even second or time.. I cleared the cache and closed it and still no change. Am I the only one having problems? if so maybe it has something to do with a app i have.

Well I feel better lol and doesnt really seam like google now problem, the voice to text, and voice dialer also do it so thinking must be something with the system not the apps.

Voice dialer and voice search use the same mic code as calling. Where when I was fixing the audio and still checked the other day both worked fine. I can't comment on google now though.
