Hi, thanks Danny, I'm pretty new to the Android scene, only started using it for the last year and a half or less so I'm still excited by it. I wish I could afford more exotic hardware, although is there anything really good in a small and pocketable design? They all seem to be trying to become a tablet now
Pretty soon we'll probably have Android televisions you can make calls on
I've considered making an Android powered carputer
I decided to try and answer some posts based on my experiences so far, more so that there was a little info in reply to questions, and that may help people reading through the threads. I'm not a programmer or anything, just like to tinker so I can't really do much to help the scene in any other way. I'm also dabbling with ICS on a netbook with Android x86. Going to install the latest version soon.
The Galaxy W is a nice little handset considering the price of it. I'm enjoying mine so far, little quirks aside
I did join up over at XDA too, so I'll pop in, but probably won't be able to help as much there. It will be a bit too in depth for me I think.
I've wondered if a custom ROM would still be able to use the free Navigon software included with the handset? I'd be keen to try a later OS on my phone when they're fully able to run all the hardware properly.
Thanks for dropping in and introducing yourself, cheers, Rob.
