Root [ROM][KINGDOM] Unofficial CM10 for Kingdom Nightlies **8/24/12**

Hey guys, first I would like to thank you all for the help you've given me after viewing this site on multiple occasions.

I had a quick question about this rom: When I flash it, for some reason I am losing root access for my apps. Titanium, SetCPU, and others are not working, yet the bootloader still says unlocked? I did go to the developer options and make sure apps/adb had root access since cm started shipping their roms out without root. I am currently using the Kingdom ICS xFuZiionZz rom and I am not having any troubles whatsoever. Thanks in advance.

Do this wiped data factory reset>wipe cache partition> Then go into mount>and format system. After reinstalling the rom open up superuser hit Ok for the changes then close.. Then go to the market and look for superuser again, and install it will show as a update..Then download titanium back up and root. Then when that is done, open up titanium back up and root, to see if it takes.. I do this each time I had to reinstall this rom, after trying a few others..

Does anyone follow cyanogenmod on Google+? They recently posted some pictures showing SMS popups instead of having to open the SMS app. Do you think there is any chance you could add this in to the next build 2fast?

I just saw that. It looks like it was added to the source and if it was then the next build should have it. I am doing a repo sync right now and going to build the source and work on this hopefully while 2fast is away with his injured phone.... :)

Awesome! Before you guys released cyanogenmod I always used gosms because I love the pop up feature. I can't wait! :D

Really digging the ROM so far. It's definitely faster than stock. Of course I've run into the three issues you're already aware of - BlueTooth doesn't work, MMS needs a workaround, and most importantly to me, WiMax isn't in the ROM yet. (That kind of takes the 4G out of the EVO Design 4G).

Besides those, I've run into two other issues:

1. Trying to turn on the mobile hotspot from within Settings doesn't work, but it's not a big deal. I use WiFi Tether for Root instead and that works like a charm.

2. Netflix doesn't work. I can load the app and choose a show, but when the video player loads, it hangs and if I want to try it again (and fail) I have to forcefully end it. I'm not sure why this is, but YouTube videos seem to work fine.

Despite those issues, I'll definitely keep using the ROM over the stock. It's faster and my battery life seems to be a lot better than stock.

Just to let the ones know mentioning wimax. I really have no intention to get it work beyond putting the stuff in to see if it does. If it doesn't I don't plan to futher look at it more as the dev team is hero's where we have no wimax. Hence no way to check to see if we are going in the right way. If it is really a deal killer, don't look forward to having it. Not trying to be a downer or anything but just saying.

This is sounding so sweet.. My Design is still virgin... but this ROM is really coming along very nice during developement. I am really looking forward to using this as a daily soon.. but for now I am riding on stock because atm, it works simply fine for me... and I know once I root it I will be back to being another ROM junkie on this phone as well as the others I possess..

Just wanted to say thanks! :)

Well, I appreciate the heads-up and I'll make a backup plan if I find myself unable to live with this. Thanks again.

If there's anything I can do to help test the wimax or anything I'd be happy to. If not, if you put wimax in and it's still a no go I'll quit bitching about it.

I think what he means is that it is nearly impossible to get something going if you can not first troubleshoot it yourself and see it first hand. All of us have Hero S phones as he stated and there is nearly a impossible situation if you can not logcat something yourself and tinker with it on your own.

That is what I meant, It is kind of hard to add it when I can't verify it. Though can at least see if it tries to turn on or show. It is how ever as I said not on my list of needed. Also keep in mind I don't believe any other wimax htc phone has 4g on jelly or ics. Last I knew the shift didn't any way.

Well, if you happen to put it in I'll test and tinker with it. I know it may not work, so I won't whine if it doesn't.

Correct only 4glte phones as I know got anything above 3g working on either ICS or jb

is there a way to fit fm radio in here or should i back it up from the fusion rom using tb and then restore it?Other then that rom is great...not that its a problem

Not sure if the stock app will work or not being a sense app. How ever you should be able to use one off the market, not sure if fm will actually work though.
