Okay, I'm getting ready to purchase one of these apps and wanted to see what the consensus is here. Which, if any, are people using? I know Franco is one that seems popular there's also the one for trinity as well. Also, are there any that are universally compatible ( or at least mostly). From what I have read, many are compatible for a few kernels but not all.

I've purchased them all at one point or another lol (Glado's Trinity, Franco), and Franco is the most well developed IMHO. Plus, you can use his app for pretty much any kernel out there. Hope this helps.

It does help. Thanks.

So it sounds like Franco is the preferred and it works with most. Does it work with Trinity?

Running lean. battery seems to be getting better but I'm still not exactly doing cartwheels. I've noticed that overnight last night my % actually increased for a bit during deep sleep.

Battery for me was awful with Franco but I think its because my extended battery needs more breaking in.

2 hrs 5 minutes of screen so far on this charge with 10% remaining.

That just doesn't seem right. I'm rocking two days of moderate use with extended battery on Franco milestone. Have you tried any other kernels besides lean and franco? Trinity worked well with my phone . Maybe try stock to get a baseline.

Holy cow.

Yeah. I'm averaging 4.5 to over 5 hrs. of screen on time w/ the same battery. I believe that since his phone is new and hasn't had that many charge cycles or time to collect information on Mizzou's usage, it hasn't optimized as of yet. I'm hoping and believe his battery will improve over time. Either that, or his phone isn't properly sleeping.

Hope so. I'm at 70% with an hour of screentime on this cycle. Using hotplugx governor on latest lean nightly. There was definitely something weird going on with my Franco download because my phone is running way cooler with lean. Plan on giving it a week before trying trinity and some of the others.

I'm on RUJellin and and lean kernel 180 and get a little over 24 hours with what I think is moderate use (4 hours music, 1 hour phone calls, 20 texts, 2 hours internet). I've been quite happy with that but 2 days ... ! I'm going to have to try codename. The battery life if impressive.

Yeah :p, I ended that charge cycle with about 2 days 8 hrs. and some change, with some decent screen on time as well. CNA's Dev is going to implement the toroplus JB binaries after he completes some testing.

That's def a huge improvement! Pls let me know how much screen on time you end up with.

By the way did full discharge followed by full charge on my last cycle. Getting sleep as low as -2 ma.

Fully discharging followed by fully charging (w/o interruption) definitely helps condition your battery. Looks like you're reaping the benefits of doing so :D. As always, keep us posted.

Off topic. How you liking RUJellin's latest with all the prop apks and toroplus JB binaries? Any noticeable differences?

Just flashed it and the new radio a couple of hours ago. Everything worked perfectly before and seems just as good to now but I'm a more objective user in that I dont do speed tests, signal strength or look at screen on time... I checked the usual suspects- GPS, MMS, Google now, NFC, camera, deep sleep, voice recognition. No problems that I can see but again I did have any problems before. I was hoping the speaker sound would improve. It's no better / can hear fine with a headset but not on speaker. my WiFi in the house seems better - can't wait to try to make calls in known bad reception areas around my neighborhood and work. Its been pretty abysmal.
