I missed this post as I we must have crossed response times. Call her damn cell phone. Seriously, what if she feels the same way you do? And is as afraid of failure or rejection? What is the worst she can say? I'm not interested. Go that extra mile. That girl that makes your heart go aflutter isn't one that comes around everyday. she may not be the one, but don't leave yourself wondering.

AJ, buddy, just call her. Hope for the best, you have already accepted the worst.

She knows. I can pretty much be assured of that. Because I flat told her to her face that I liked her. Then it got awkward for a bit, then after about a month, we started where we left off before I opened my trap.

I never been good with this stuff. Never.

I have noticed a few things:
Sometimes when we where working together and talking, we seemed to "orbit" around each other.

Out on the floor, every so often, I would look up and she would be looking at me, her eyes and head went strait down and back to work. Mine did too.

I have got her to laugh over the most stupid stuff to come out of my mouth at times.

There have been times where we did nothing but giggle at each other. I would run into something and we would giggle. She would do the same, and we would giggle. Drop something, giggle.

Synchronicity, where sometimes I would smack my hand or hurt myself in a minor way, then a few minutes later, she would do the same, not in the same spot, however. She even saw this and told me, "every time you hurt your self, I hurt myself" I told her that was spooky. Also at times there would be love songs playing over the PA.

I have only recently been able to catch her eyes. The first time it happened, we both just stood there for a few moments and then it was like, oh crap!

I have managed to touch her a couple times, mostly on the shoulder. She did not seem to mind, not recoiling in horror. The last time, on her last day as I was getting ready to leave, we were chatting, our boss was there and I made a joke stating I was going to put a tracking device on her, maybe her hair, and for some unknown reason, I reached out to the little bit of hair she had left out of her pony tail bun or what ever its called (I was going to say doorknob ) to act like I was going to put something in her hair, and as I was doing this, I was looking at her face and ended up brushing her chin / cheek very lightly with my fingers before getting her hair. She just watched me do this.

I have NEVER been able to do something like this before. I suspected she would draw back or duck or something. She did not.

I have seen a couple of her tattoos that are normally not visible, the one on her ankle, and the other one, well, unless she was in a bikini, or with out a shirt on, one would not know it was there. It was on her chest. A low cut top would not have shown it. It was shown to me, much to my surprise, with out me asking her to show it to me.

The other night while talking to her, she was playing with a ring on one of her fingers, taking it off and putting it back on. I thought I read something about this, but I am unsure. Its probably nothing.

A few times she has come in with her hair down. And a short time later, it would be up.

Every so often she would be dancing. Her last couple days of work, that all she did, however.

A couple weeks ago, I had asked if she liked starbucks, she said of course, and "why" but she knew what was coming. I asked her if she wanted to get some starbucks one of these days, and I had already started to say something else but she answered pretty, yes, enthusiastically almost before I got the whole first part out of my mouth!

So far, sounds kind of good, right? well...

Sadly, she ended up canceling at the last minute, because something came up. Now, I do know she was busy, and only have one vehicle between the two of us, kind of put a damper on things. So I just let it slide. Also there is the issue of the work thing and conflicting schedules.

While talking to her the other day to kind of see where I stood with her, and to kind of give her as much of a guilt-free out as I could, I asked her strait up if she was still interested in hanging out for coffee. I told her I understood if she was not interested, that I did not want her to feel like she was being guilt tripped into this and I gave her a hand full of outs if she wanted to use them.

I suspected she would take them.

She did not. She said she still wanted to have that coffee with me. When I asked if it was cool if I texted her or called or what not after she left, she told me if she did not want me to, she would not have given me her number. I suppose this is true. I even gave her outs on doing that when I got it from her! And this is when I told her strait to her face that I liked her!

I don't know. Part of me says she is not interested. Another part of me says that she could be, but has something holding her back. Perhaps its the work issue.

She seems to act a bit different around me, then with the other guys that she interacts with. Like, she will throw stuff at them, bump into them and hit them. Me? She acts a bit shy around me I guess? Kind of more reserved? She has smacked me a couple times, usually with something.

I do know she is kind of shy. I am not very good at reading body language and I do overlook some details.

I don't know.

I guess I should text her in a couple of days to see how her vacation is going and see if she answers back. If not, well then I guess I have my answer.

Aww cute, (sorry but it is) dude, for what it's worth, shyness/nervousness is gonna make things so much harder. She obviously means a lot to ya, and sometimes you just gotta take the plunge and have a lil faith. It's so much harder when both people are shy.

Don't over-analyse everything, don't try to 'guess' how she feels or thinks, you might be surprised at the convosation if you just ask her "so what's on your mind?"

It sounds like she's into ya bro, so hit her up? Never pass on a chance at a good thing, no matter how nerve wrecking it might be, hell just tell her flat out, you like her but ya scared senseless and don't know how to go about things, least if she knows that she knows how you feel and she might be encouraged to make things more obvious for you, or talk about things from her side.
