Create recovery sdcard procedure for Amlogic

Hi to all,

on V-Play download section under Tools there is pdf document describing how to create recovery sdcard with Linux + Windows (any version).

In open file dialog, field filename type *.* and hit enter. That will show all files.

fdisk shows First sector instead of First cylinder and the minimum is 2048. How can I input cylinder instead of sector?

Edit: Found it. Apparently you must specify -u=cylinders as a command line option

good point. I made tutorial on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, on newer linux distros you have to specify that additional parameter. Will update pdf...

I did the first part of the pdf document "linux" I downloaded to my PC "wubi.exe" link:
Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS (Lucid Lynx)
but the second part "wenhex"
* I could not do because : the bin file is not sported in "Clone Disk menu.

Hi majed

If it's because you can't see it in the browse menu, then like stane says you must enter *.* in the filename and press enter so you can see it. If it's because it gives you a bunch of warnings, you can ignore them. Just press OK for them.
Also make sure you have a registered version of winhex - I think cloning is not available in the demo version.
