PDAnet and PS3 "Call of Duty"

PDAnet works perfect for my internet connection. I can even use it to get my PS3 online. The thing is I can't login to my COD account and play my favorite game:(

Does anyone here play their PS3 off of PDAnet and can you play COD??

I've tried all the regular settings on the PS3 so any help would be appreciated.

Are you able to see the network?
I heard using the WiFi tether on Google works.

Well I can see I'm online with my PS3 and when I test DL and UL speeds they aren't to far off my cable connection so I don't think that's the problem. I'm wondering if because Sony uses our consoles as mini servers that therein lies the real problem but just guestimating.

My guess would be that COD has updated their servers to try and prevent hackers/cheaters from access. The server maybe picked up your android device since its the main network hub and user, and thought you were trying to cheat? Try manually using google's DNS server in network settings on your PS3. Also remove metro's proxy settings. Always a hassle for me. thats the most i can offer without trying it out on my PS3 which i wont be able to for about a week. (Yay for full time college! >.>)
