Choosing a Android Phone to suit me

Hello,
I'm currently have an iPhone 3G, but I want to ditch it in favour of Android... Android seems to offer far more customisation and flexibility that Apple simply doesn't.
So I'm after some advice and help as what to get... or wait to get.

I've done a little research into all the different Android handsets (all of which are available, but 1 that's on its way) and have some some comparisons, but not 100% I've got everything correct, so:

Motorola Milestone - Motorola XT720/Motoroi:
Exactly same spec except from the XT720 has a better camera?

Google Nexus One - HTC Desire:
Exactly the same?

Then there's the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 - has the best camera of the lot, but no pinch & Zoom...

What to choose?

Ideally, I want to use it as my digital camera, as I rarely carry one, so it needs to have a good snapper. I like the Dock the Motorola offers that turns it into a bed side clock - do any of the others offer anything similar?

So confused, any help much appreciated,
Thankyou

Wait till the summer mate and get the HTC Evo 4G. I would think it has the best camera I've seen in a phone 8MP, manual controls and touch to focus capabilities, relatively low lag when you press the shutter button, as well as 2 LED flashes. :)

Captures 720p videos and can store 1080p movies and play it on your TV with HDMI connections.

If the price is right, I'm getting this phone. :D

The HTC Evo4 looks like the one for me!
I'm really after a good camera and have been weighing up my options, I can afford to wait till summer... but will it be release in the UK summer time too?

I like it, thankyou!
