I seem to think the EVO will be released with a TFT LCD screen, but for some weird reason, the screen type wasn't mentioned in the "Official Specs". A lot of people around here seem want AMOLED, but I'm one of them that doesn't. Do you have any input?

seriously guys what we saw at CTIA was so little of what the real phone will be it would be a disservice to it to call that a preview
Boy, you're making me salivate, that's for sure. I can't wait for the phone, but I'm not as uptight as I was before CTIA. I was appreciative that we got pictures, videos and specs. I know the next couple of months will go by pretty fast.

the device i saw was LCD. I am a Sprint dev tho and on the dev sight it is still listed as AMOLED even after i inquired about it. When i asked i got no response. It is also the only fact of the phone besides Ram/ Rom that is not on the official sprint site. Verrry interesting. I do not think it would be just AMOLED, if anythhing super AMOLED, they definetly want you to see this phone outside haha. But LCD seems like the deal to me but the other option is also in the liklihood

Guess we'll know more on the 16th, if not before...

Since you were the one that mentioned BestBuy, do you like like I do, that they'll be the first one to sell the phone to their preferred customers?

I have some questions regarding the EVO that in the first 13-14 pages of this thread was not mentioned, or perhaps I missed it.

I've read reports that the browser will come pre-installed with Flash 10.1. Is this like flash, flash?

And what I mean is that when I go to a website and there is a link of a video I can click on that and watch the video, or will I get the little icon I get in my G1 every time there is a flash video in a website?

I don't care about flashing ads, I mean the actual software? Flash 10.1?

Also, EVO will be 3G/4G connection. I live in Orlando, FL, and I don't even know when 4G will be available, but until then my connection will always be 3G?

I will never go to EDGE connection?

How's the 3G network from sprint? Is it strong? Good? Ok? Decent?

Thanks in advanced.

I haven't heard anything about Flash being pre-installed on the EVO.

If anyone has any info on this please share.

yeah guys it will be the first phone to come with flash pre-installed. It's chipset works like any others too always looking for the strongest signal 4G, then the next strongest 3G, and then the next strongest 2G. So it will go to edge so that you have a signal but it will look for the best connection possible like it says above Sprint's 3G network is amazing. Blazing fast data speeds and overall good coverage, atleast here in RI/ MA.

man it would be sooo funny (for us I mean) if Sprint announces the HTC Incredible tomorrow. LOL do you know how many people at the incredible thread would go psycho?

Joking aside, I'm glad whatever the announcement tomorrow brings - this is a great opportunity to turn Sprint around and for Hesse to stop losing more hair every year

Sorry to go off topic, but what is up with all the joking about the HTC Incredible?

I just recently entered the discussion about the EVO, and have seen a few posts about people joking about the HTC Incredible.

Am I missing something?

If so, then what's up?

Sorry for my ignorance. LOL.

Lol. That would be funny as heck. The Incredible aka the Phantom aka that phone in a box becomes the Sprint HTC Awesome. Coming in May 2010. Lol

You know speaking of announcements. I cannot find that page where I read about the meeting tomorrow being about the new stock options. I must have been on drugs, cause I thought I saw it in the wall street journal and now I can't find it.

TS out
