Not necessarily...just wait and see ...cm7 is almost complete just need to work out the kinks and fix the camera and cm9 just needs kernel tweaks so it can run better

I updated my Admire to 2.3.6 via the official metroPCS software update (on Samsung web site) last week and it's working out so far. One big change is the screen appearance when it's locked.

most ics apps wont work good (Or at all) like chrome. nope.
It may even run ok, but there is no point with no hwa or a processor capable of doing anything significant other then look nice in which case why not use one of our MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY unnecessary themes.

Personally I'll stick with my ROM and an ICS theme. Something tells me that will run just a _little_ faster than ICS.

Lol well Idk if the graphics has successfully been backported yet (I'm not working on it) but it only needs kernel work ...

You know the funny thing is, it can be accomplished. I have an HD2 which just so happens to have the Adreno 200, and a HW Acceleration kernel ;D Oh, not to mention running JellyBean. So much butter ;D Oh, did I mention it was a Windows Phone? Haha. And Triple Booting Ubuntu ;DDDDDD I love my Jesus Phone.

Oh stop being butthurt, and all that jabber was about a phone that has HW Acceleration working. I mentioned it because our phone has the same Adreno GPU. Anyways, I might start working on a kernel soon.

My phone has the Adreno 200, just like the Admire.

Someone had built a kernel that has HW Acceleration working. I am working on porting the Kernel to the Admire.
