I have a couple questions I couldnt find the answers too..

I dropped my Evo 3D and busted the screen. I had the Nexus so I broke it out and updated it to 4.1.1

Ive noticed if Im typing a text and go past the 160? characters it makes me send that before I can continue typing. The Evo let you type all you want then sent in in chunks. Is this a setting issue I need to adjust?

Also, I have my FB account linked but its not merging the accounts. The Evo would show the FB pic when someone called or text. Is that just something the Nexus wont do?

I don't think there is a setting for this. The default for SMS is 160 characters, so the Nexus S is just following the rules as defined by the regulating body. The EVO was allowing you to keep typing, and then 'fixing' the texts afterwards, but that doesn't make it right. It might be 'better', but personally I prefer SMS to be what it is - SMS=SHORT messaging service. Note the emphasis on 'short' where the text is meant to be brief, not full paragraphs and conversations like some companies think.
:D

Can't help there...I don't do Facebook. Perhaps someone else can chime in here?
