I was told if we currently have this plan. Whenever we switch phones the plan is gonna stay. But most likely it'll still be available for the s3... that's if metro wants to make good business

Yes, Apple is trying to ban the entire "galaxy"lineup. The galaxy phones have been some of the most innovative phones on the market, and the only phones that compare to the iPhone in sales. That is why you see Apple going after Samsung way now than any other manufacturer. It had nothing to do with patents or looks, it has to do with Samsung being a threat a Apple's monopoly in the mobile

Yeah its true. Apple Is attempting by all means to destroy Samsung because apple is losing big time. But they will mostly sue in terms of design so as far as that article , most of Samsung devices could be affected by it. ( tho I doubt GS3 is in it.....)

Apple did add the sgs3 in the suit. Don't see how that infringes on their patents but you know apple

Current customers who are on the $55 4G ultd plan will stay the same when you buy the s3 because it's simply an upgrade. Plan never chances even if the promo is over.

I work for Metro, on the East coast and there has been nothing Ive heard that states anything about an end date at all to this plan. They are trying to get people on 4G lte to free up cdma bands, so it they may keep it for a while

Yeah I work for metro. If you're referring to the s3, then no, it should be coming out around the next week depending which market you're in (L.A market here). But definitely the first week of October. Like trigger said, there is no word on the special 4G plan end date because metro is getting everyone to get on 4G so I'm pretty sure this plan will still be around when the S3 comes out. Think about it, SGS3 + $55 UNLTD 4G = Tons of $$$ saved on the long run comparing to other S3 plans on other carriers

I registered to all but confirm that Metro will be releasing the S3 on the 28th (this Friday). When specific markets may get it will vary I'm sure. I called customer service, wanting to confirm that corporate stores would have it. They gathered all of my information, wanted to know where I got that information, put me on hold for like 15 minutes, then the rep fumbled around with...

"I can't confirm that information. However, if you check the MetroPCS.com website on Friday, you'll be able to see if the phone is available or not."

metro reps dont know jack. they're pretty much kept out of the loop like the rest of us.

metro doesnt announce the release dates for phones ever. we have to find out everything second hand. why they do this i really dont know.

metro wont release a phone without the promos being aired and sent everywhere anyways with that being said a good source from howard forums that works deep within the umbrella corporation inside the comb said in some states they started to promote the s3 on some billboards, so its safe to assume not all states will start to get them at the same time for now no billboards or promos have been seen in florida so if it indeeds it lands somewhere the 28th i dont think it will be florida.
