New rom over at xda for those of you who haven't seen it.

Just flashed it. It's a port from a CDMA Hero build, basically a final build apparently.

Seems nice so far except for a dodgy skin (update.zip will be available tonight apparently to revert to normal sense), and I can't seem to sync my facebook contacts.

Legendary v1.3.5 is great. I flashed it today as Villain was very slow!

I will hold off flashing Villain 5 for a week or two to iron out any remaining bugs that have been sent it via bug tracker etc

But looks good so far.

Battery life on the Legendary v1.3.5 ROM is amazing! Compared to BeHero 1.3.2 and Villain 4 Beta ... both had a very very very poor battery life.

Then again all 3 are based on the same kernal. Weird.

Cool, can't say I've tried that ROM. The first 2.1 I flashed was Villain 4 beta 2, and coming from modaco 3.1 I HATED it! Was sooo slow and sluggish.

I flashed 5.01 on top of 5.0 this morning which has a fix in to improve battery life but as I've only been using the rom a day or so I can't really comment on the battery life yet.
Overall though I love it, it's such a nice rom and realllly fast. Just need apps2sd then it would be near-perfect

I flashed this yesterday, and I wonder if anyone can help me out with a couple of issues.

Bluetooth? I cant seem to send a file to a friends phone. My hero will see his phone and pair with it, but when I try to send a file it says something like 'sending failed unknown file' Its an mp3 file I'm trying to send him if that makes any difference.

Also, how do I enable navigation & street view on google maps? I have downloaded the updates from the market since flashing, but I cant see how to do this.*EDIT* Found this now, sorry*

Please be gentle with me though, i am very new and I only managed to flash this thanks to the excellent help I had from here.

I never use bluetooth so haven't tried it but you could try this app:

Thanks mate, I'll give it a go.

Also, whilst I have now found Google navigation, it doesn't seem to work, just says 'unable to find a route to your destination'

No worries.
I'm not too sure on navigation. If you're in the US then the official Google Maps should work fine. Outside of the US you need to use brut's version of Google Maps which is on the rom by default, although I think it has less functionality than the official one.

I tried it out and it seemed to work ok but the reason it might not work for you might be down to your location, but I'm no expert so I'm not sure sorry

Bruts map is a cracked version of Google maps enabling Navigation etc

Brut.all over @ XDA dev's cracked it hence it is called Bruts maps.
