I just dropped my evo in the toilet I dried it with paper towel and wont turn on. I took the battery off and put it in ziplock back covered with rice. If this doesnt work can I return it to Virgin Mobile for replacement?

After putting it in rice overnight i was able to turn it on everyting looks ok no sign of water on screen (maybe having a trident aegis case helped). I immediately turned it off and put in a bag until tomorrow. Is it advisable to buy a replacement battery even though its working just to avoid leakage in the future?
you can also buy replacement/generic water indicator strips from ebay,
if its busted, im sure someone has a guide, showing where all the indicator strips are, and remove then and replace them with new ones. Then you should have no problem sending it in.
Wondering how many people in this thread are posting from the toilet...
Problem there is that's what prosecutors like to call fraud.
How do you drop am evo into the toilet anyway? Like seriously?
Well it could happen while you're wiping with one hand and holding the phone with the other. For example, all of a sudden you get an incoming text that distracts you and before you know it, *plop*. "Wait, that's no turd, it's...OH GOD!"
or wiping and holding with the same hand o_o
I was told the best buy insurance covers water damage and accidental whatevers, if you have that.
