Was the same for me in Dallas. Coming from the UK I was all like 'What you mean I can't buy alcohol here?'
Had to drive 15 minutes for the closest liquor store to the south.
I was fascinated by the bars policy of only allowing paid members to drink there, but the membership costs where the same as a drink, and that they'd throw the first drink in 'free' to compensate.
Now I live in OH, where we have drive thru liquor stores (although I still do a run into KY to pick up my Bourbon tax free).

it is my menu from yesterday, but in acct of everything going on. It wasn't prepared in time. Got up super early today to make sure it was completed by game time.
Crab cakes, po boys. And chipolte Cole slaw.... and yes, I may enjoy some of this as well.
