I'm imagining a flood of posts tomorrow saying the EVO is available in sprint stores immediately, or that they announced android 3.0 on it, or that it has a 1024x768 Super AMOLED, or that walmart is putting a wimax tower on every store afterall, and every other thing that people want to hear news about.

Also, if Sprint has a major announcement tomorrow saying the EVO is available on April 16th for $199, I might just not believe it because of tomorrow's date.

April 1st is a bad day for technology fans waiting for real news!

well actualy, Walmart AND Bestbuy just announced that they are being briefed on the Evo tonight, and that each store will be getting some Evos for demos. This will be similar to the demos being run daily at Apple stores. Pre orders will be starting this monday. We have recently learned that according to Sprint, April 16th is not a desireable release date, and that the actual release date is May 8th, which is a saturday. The Evo will be released with a beta version of Froyo, and a super AMOLED screen which just recently htc earned rights to.

Turns out the EVO is too good and the other big three don't have anything to counter it so they gave Sprint billions of dollars to delay the launch until January.

That does show up on some pages. Saw it myself not long ago but it only shows up on certain pages. I think Sizzle is a leftover from an old inside name. The other specs are just wrong. I think there is more to do with mistakes and errors here but those screenshots are in fact real.
