Earpiece volume

Is there any way to adjust the volume in the earpiece?

On mine that controls the ringer volume.Is there a way to get to the earpiece to use these to turn it down?I can't find it.

I thing you actually have to use the side volume control while you are actually on a call. Otherwise, it does adjust the ringer. Similar to how it adjusts the "Media" sound (instead of ringer) when you are playing a game.

I actually get very few calls on my phone, but I imagine it will hold it. You could probably call to check your voice mail and adjust it while the "voice mail lady" is rambling on. Then call it back and check if it kept the volume.
