Ten brands that may disappear in 2013 - MarketWatch We made the list again, Well ehh they said we would disappear in 2012 last year.
They could be doing the expanding there network to look more attractive to a potential buyer, remember this Sprint Ditching MetroPCS Raises Red Flags - MarketBeat - WSJ if the board didnt reject the deal we would of been bought already but i like sprint because they like theyre prepaid services because thats the service thats making them money.Aint gonna happen. I mean Metro has released more 4G phones in the past 6 months than they have had available at any given time a year ago.
PLUS, they have just expanded their data speeds and upped their network.
I highly doubt a company that has expanded as much as metro has in the past 6 months is going away ANYTIME soon.
Also, prepaid is becoming the way to go. I bet within 10 years you will have nothing BUT prepaid plans. People are becoming wise and realizing that they can get the same thing that the top 4 offers but at half the price and with no contract. I see the top 4 slowly changing to nothing but prepaid plans. They will have to compete with the marking thus giving them no choice.

I read Metro was going under last year, wouldn't exist this year.
that's a BS list, companies such as Rite-aid, T-mobile, Lohmans should have disappeared according to some sources in 2010.
Well, T-Mobile and MetroPCS has just announced a merger. The new company will keep T-Mobile name and drop MetroPCS. So yeah, MetroPCS will disappear in 2013.
metropcs isnt going anywhere..3. Will the MetroPCS name or branding change?
Upon completion of the combination, the new combined company will be called T-Mobile, and will continue to operate MetroPCS and T-Mobile as separate customer units.
Deutsche Telekom and T-Mobile have announced publicly that they intend to grow the MetroPCS brand, both through extension into new geographic areas and through the introduction of a broader product portfolio into our existing network.
If Metro/TMobile were really smart -they would reassure Dealers/Customers with a fact sheet about Plans and the Brand in the Future.
If not the doubts will cause many potential new customers luref by the great Plans and the S3 to NOT go to Metro PCS.
