Rezound for Razor, Nexus or Charge?

Been having ongoing problems with both my Rezounds. If you were to trade them in and get a free replacement, would you go with the Razor, Nexus or Charge?

It depends on how you use it. The biggest battery hog on the GNex is the large screen. I have gotten as far as 12 hours on the stock battery.

yup, that along with facebooking and calls.

If I watch videos, Hulu, Netflix or youtube, then the battery drops pretty quickly. I have a Seidio 3800mah extended battery on order so I'll see how that goes. Some have reported over 24 hours battery life with regular use.

I don't like Nexus doesn't have SD card.
Nexus does have extended batteries.

I had the nexus. With the god awful bulky battery I still only managed like 8 hours.

Swapped with razr maxx and never looked back. See if they will give you a maxx. I so miss the modding capabilities of the nexus but the blur on ics isn't bad for Motorola. Don't really miss plan aosp too much except for wanting jelly bean. But it should be coming...

Razor Maxx is not an option. I prefer the display of the Nexus compared to the Razor.

Why isn't it an option? Just keep calling and talking to someone else. They will eventually give you what you want.
And I don't miss the screen from my nexus. It was too hard to see outside anyway. Like impossible.

Of the three you listed, definitely Nexus. All three have comparable battery life. So scratch that variable, and the Nexus spanks the rest of them, IMO.

If you want to be able to use your phone to make calls and surf the Web, stay away from anything made by Samsung. Don't listen when people say their signal is find blah blah its all a lie to make them selves feel better about their phone. They may think their signal is good but until you have a phone that actually does have good signal then you know the difference

Having owned a Charge (and Samsung Epic on Sprint) and currently a Droid Razr I will confirm this. I've heard (very reliably from those who have a Nexus currently) that this issue still exists.

If you are willing to deal with this, get the Nexus. If not, well... keep looking

...my Samsung Epic 4G (Galaxy S) had very unreliable GPS, didn't want to connect to a PC, and had delayed updates that were full of bugs.

Motorola has been around for many many many years. They are often known for having some if the best radios (they should, as they were originally a radio company) and gps on the market. The ics update kinda screwed up gps but there are easy ways to fix it.

My first Android was a Droid x. Man what a great phone. I took a chance wanting an unlocked bootloader and Got the nexus, what a mistake. The phone itself was amazing. But the hardware wasn't. Shoddy radios, poor camera, and cheap build quality made my switch to a maxx when offered a no Brainer.

It is not an option cause it is not an option. I have had both the phones for about a year now and well out the manufacturers warranty.

They will allow something comparable, but are not allowing any current 4G phones to be traded in on the Galaxy S3 for now.

Good to hear, that is what I ended up going with, got them to throw in the extended battery for both with no charge. Gives me 10 months left on my current contract and will see then if it is worth upgrading to something else.

That is the phone of having a phone. LOL Something we haven't been able to do with the Rezound. Have always own HTC products, Incredible before the Rezound, but was not impressed with their latest offering when I was looking.

Called VWZ and they offered a Razor to me. I moaned and groaned a bit that this was not a fair trade. I asked for a Galaxy S3. Believe it or not that is what they sent me. Of course it had no battery and no back to it. Had to buy those from Amazon. Would have done that anyway because I wanted an extended battery (HTC poor battery complex I guess).

Got it on Friday and got it up and running and I just love it. Maybe too late for you to ask about the S3 but if not I would give it a try. All they can do is say No!

Oh, if you do ask them for the S3, please be very nice and friendly. That seemed to work well for me.

When did you buy you Rezound initially?

My first smartphone was an HTC Ozone running Win OS. That was before Android came out big time. Next I got the HTC Incredible and just loved it and had no problems with it. When the wife needed a new phone I used her upgrade with VZW to get me the Rezound and gave her the Incredible.

Did much research on smartphone and Rezound seemed like the best to me. In fact it did work fine until the upgrade to ICS came through. Had problems with it since then and after 3 replacement phones didn't solve the problem or had other problems of their own VZW offered me a Razzor to replace the Rezound. Instead of taking what I felt was a backward step I held out for the S3 which I think right now is arguably the best Android phone on the market.
