Help turned tab on this morning and

There is an upside down exclamation mark inside a circle which is like the no smoking sign, what is this how do I fix it thanks

Hi fran.

Sounds like you have turned off Notifications.

Click on the notifications bar in the bottom of the screen and Switch Notifications back on.

That should be you sorted.

Sometimes this happens if you use apps that try to conserve bandwidth or battery life as it will stop the tablet fetching email/facebook notifications adhoc.

Hi,
I have a minus sign in the notifications bar. I have rebooted to no avail. The normal notifications and apps are on. I have not downloaded anything and no downloads are pending.

Sorted out The "Notifications"was off.

Glad you sorted it out.

As far as i can remember the actual documentation that comes with the Tabs is poor and really does not show you what half the icons mean.

If one has to rely on the documentation provided with the tablet you will not get very far.
