Hello,
I have recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and I have been really impressed with it, until last night. It kept prompting me to perform a software update so I did. I followed the instructions on screen and it said 'Your device will now reboot.' So the screen went blank and the touch button lights were illuminated. After 3 hours, both of these switched off so I assumed it had finished installing the update. I left it for around 20-30 minutes to see if it would turn on, but it never did. I tried manually powering it up and nothing happened. I took the battery out and put it back in, then tried again but still nothing happened. Please help, I really need my phone to work :p

Cheers,

Max

Oh dear, sorry to hear that!
I actually queried the update requests with my provider & they said to ignore them because they are only reminders of internet/sms settings. I don't like downloading anything directly to my phone without knowing what it is!!
Have you left the battery & SIM card out for about 5 mins & then replaced & re-started?? Not sure what else to suggest, if it still won't start up you'll have to pop into your local store for them to have a look or replace it. Let us know what happens. Graham:thinking:
