Help Converting DVDs to play on the Moment.

Whats up everybody! I have a Samsung Moment and I am having issues when converting dvd movies to play on my moment.. The real issue is it will play as mpeg 2 or 4 fine, but its the fact that it only shows up as a small rectangle and does not use the full potential of the screen. When I put sd where I saved the movie into my hero, the movie fills up the whole screen even though the dvd is wide screen..I am using DVD Fab to convert my dvds, it works fine with my hero and my ipod touch. Its not that important buts really annoying! Someone please help!

what player are you using? and are you converting to the moment's screen size/resolution 320x480?

Just download them in divx/avi format and forget about converting anything. It will look awesome on your Moment, believe me.

Ill try it in AVI using dvd fab. Any other free software you can recommend to do this?

what player are you using? and are you converting to the moment's screen size/resolution 320x480?

Using cinema and the stock one. Im using dvd fab and there is no option to change the screen size/resolution. If you know of free software that can do this let me know.

I use Handbrake and just set it to ipod touch settings. I tried just using the avi as is, but they take up a good amount of storage and I get frameskip issues. I'm guessing that the moment's cpu can't handle their framerate. I'm hoping the Evo will handle unconverted AVI's much better.

Handbrake and app or software and does it use the whole screen?

When I had my BB Curve, I downloaded a program off of crackberry called, DVDToGo. I have transfered my movies I ripped from my DVD's and had on my BB to my Moment and work flawlessly through the stock movie player available in the "gallery" program. You can do quite a bit with that program I think. Choose res size, quality, etc. I do almost bottom quality, and still looks AMAZING on my phone.
