Hi, again folks. Prinny here!

So I'm sitting on youtube, listening to some of my favorite boss music ever. Then it hit me.

Why not post HERE to see what epic boss music YOU folks like?

Of course, it doesn't have to be JUST boss music, but you get the idea.

Here's how I would (ideally) like this to work. Post the name of the song, the game it is from, and a youtube link to said song. If you want to include what part of the game it is in, cool, but be sure to respect others and use spoiler tags, if needed!

So I'll start this one off (obviously.)

Bayonetta - The Greatest Jubilee

No spoiler tags needed for MY post, but beware of the YouTube comments, just in case.

Bayonetta Soundtrack: The Greatest Jubilee (Final Boss Theme) - YouTube

Also, mods. This is dealing with Games and Music, so I hope this went to the right avenue. If not, move away!

I really like the 'level up' skyrim chant. And of course nothing beats the sound when you open a chest in any of the Zelda games. :D Or maybe the Mario music when you go underground in the tubes. :D

I think Skyrim has one of the best scores if not the best score that I've ever seen in a video game. Not to mention it spawns things like this

Skyrim- Peter Hollens & Lindsey Stirling - YouTube

The background of Mass Effect was spacey, I've heard it used in Horizon and other shows about the Curiosity rover (mission to Mars) a few times. The entire music from Mass Effect Mass Effect Music Mix Of Legend - YouTube

I also liked the background strum from diablo (I haven't tried Diablo 3, I'm talking about Diablo 2), when your in Tristram.Diablo I & II Soundtrack - Tristram Village - YouTube

Planescape: Torment - that had a few catchy tunes. This is just the title music as an example (no where near the catchiest of them Planescape: Torment - Main Title (music) - YouTube. you should be able to find them all from there if you like it. If you don't, then play the game (still my favourite game) and you will...

Flatout: Ultimate Carnage - brilliant soundtrack, highly recommended. FlatOut Ultimate Carnage Soundtracks - YouTube The game is awesome as well, If you think it starts slow (which caused the tragedy that is Flatout 3) Then just upgrade your car a bit...

I've got loads, I could go on for ages! :p

I've always loved this from Mass Effect 2.

This always sends a shiver down my spine.

The AC2 soundtrack is another favourite, with this being the pick of the bunch for me.

The Main theme from Republic Commando is one me and one of the boys at work were speaking about the other day too - Immense.

Yeah, noticed that too. :)

I've never played Halo, but I kinda like that already (I guess it grows on you as you play, like they all do, lol)

Viva el presidente :smokingsomb:

Worth a go. That or Assassins Creed is my favourite franchise.

Halo is full of epic music. The music from the Halo 3 announcement trailer is another of my favourites. In fact, the piano bit about a minute ten in is my SMS tone.

I loved that, a couple of other greats I found by Lindsey, Thanks to you:

Game of Thrones - My favourite TV show - Not as good as the original :(
Shadows - Lindsey Stirling - Follow the Shadow my friend (quote from Andor's Trail, Best RPG out there)

I really like AC, awesome setting, graphics and dialogue - The music really fits. I like the Halo tune as well, but it doesn't have that familiarity that's gained from playing a game - I'll check it out one day, or wait for the movie...

I think the 8-bit days produced some of the most memorable music ever. Yes it was repetitive but you would be humming it for days.

Super Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog are still imprinted on me. And those of you that knew the Turbo Grafix ... MILITARY MADNESS.

edit: I know these are not 'epic' but they bring back lots of happy memories and isn't that epic?

Sephiroth! That's all folks :D

I think your point is voided out by how EASY of a battle it was. Unless you are referring to the angel sephiroth....then you are indeed right.

Although, he is nothing compared to Kefka ;) most evil villain. Ever.

Oh. I really liked the battle music for bosses in Lunar 2. Great RPG. I would highly suggest it.
