I haven't used one on my Note (1) and that has ended up in a little scratch in the middle of the screen. Not something you can see when using the phone normally and you can only feel it if you are scratching the screen with your nails.
But if it's sunny you sometimes see how the light shines different on that spot and just knowing it is there annoys me.
I think it came from a time at work where I had the phone facing the screen down on a shelf with some tiny wood splinters. And if that's the case maybe it was just pure bad luck...

My hope is I don't need to wrap anything around that beautiful beast of a Note 2 (when I finally get it) but just can let it shine in all its glory:)

just came from my carrier's event promoting the Note 2. Sadly, they say they will only be providing the 16gb model. Got annoyed at the guy for saying that apps don't really take up that much space :|
Sure it's enough...right. Guess he hasn't been to the Gameloft website for those 500-1gb games, throw in 4-6 gb music, load 5 movies at 1-4gb each, etc. Ops, that is more than 16gb.
At least the Note will take a 64gb memory card!!! That is why a phone without SD support is "almost" dead on arrival for me. I might consider a non-sd phone IF it had 64gb internal. I'd like more than what I currently have, about 40gb total, so 64 would probably work.

Yeah,I didn't try and argue with him anymore. Not worth it lol. Anyway I figured I would just have to organize things better

Why do others, vendors, try to tell you what you need?
I was at the State Fair yesterday and wandered by the Verizon booth. "ready for an update?" Sure, but I'm waiting on the Note 2. What do you need with a phone that big? What a waste. It won't fit in your pocket.
Who the F is he to tell me what I want? Steve Jobs?
For some reason, it really irked me. I, like a lot of others, do some research before making decisions. Ramble ramble ramble. irked!

That's very annoying indeed, ugh. How rude. You should change carriers lol

Not alot of 18 and under cause they are broke.

Another factor on that age group.. most are too busy doing kid things, social networks, sexting, etc., so we wont see many on the forums. I realize there are exceptions, but not many of the kids I knew from my 4 boys would go to a 'tech' site until and/or if they needed help.

And.... as a mom, I would push for this phone with mine if they were still in high school, cuz they couldn't get away with using it in class is much. ;)

I bet there will be more in that age group that get the phone than people think.

Same happened to me just before the Note 2 hit the stores, went into Carphone warehouse to see if it was in, the guy said, why would you want one of them when the iphone 5 is out, its a much better phone, then went through all the features of the iphone and when he finally finished, I said, so you don't have the Note 2 in then, bye ;)

For me age and profession have a lot to do with it at least. I'm 30, no kids, just a gf and no engagement in the short term, (we're only together 6ish months), and I got a new awesome paying job.

It's a big step up for me into upper management so I need a device that lets me do more on the go :)
