Help ICS update renders phone very slow

Try turning your phone OFF when charging----seems to help with battery life and phone speeds.

I use mine for my alarm so I'm not sure if that's possible with it off. I downloaded an app that kills the tasks I selected everytime I screen off, but they ALL automatically open back up when I get back on (facebook, words with friends, etc.) This is annoying as hell IMO

Add me to the list. Painfully slow. Lags on almost everything, and the touchscreen responsiveness is sometimes lacking. I read something the other day about a fancy way to delete the cache. If I find it, I'll give it a try and report back.

Here's what I did:
1) Press and hold the Power button and turn the phone off.
2) When the screen turns off, press and hold Volume Down and Volume Up and Power.
3) When the white HBOOT screen appears, use Volume Down to move down to

Interesting to know about the cache. I've tried to install apex launcher instead of go launcher, no longer use Swype beta, deleted about 1/3rd my apps, and have zd box set to empty my ram when it goes too high. It makes the phone tolerable, but it freaks out when a call comes through. Multitasking is now non existent on this once pretty decent phone. I'll try that cache idea, and keep removing apps. If only an app stayed dead one i close it...
