Bit of a kitchen spree this evening. I had about seven pounds of chicken breast and ten of ground beef that needed attention (caught a decent price, stocked up :D). Four meatloaves, eight 1/4 lb. hamburger patties, and eight chicken breast halves are now freezing, four pounds of ground beef are browning for freezing and later recipe use.

Feeling quite organized right now ;), and loving that upright freezer.

Sort of patching the gaping holes in my android app. Fixing bugs and overhauling the code that is depreciated per honeycomb. A particularly annoying bug completely crashed the program and gave me this useless message that it could not find a resource. Programming is such a humbling exercise...to be constantly reminded that you are a stupid human by some metal and plastic box.

Where hpchange.getHP() returns an integer:
Code:
holder.txtHPValue.setText(hpchange.getHP());
Switch to:
Code:
holder.txtHPValue.setText(String.valueOf(hpchange.getHP()));
...and the program does not come down like an anvil anymore.

@John yeah i hear ya I remember doing vb and then .net came out it was a total cluster going from one to the other. I remember going the hell with .net and sticking with what I knew but now I don't mess with none of it. I got tired of it and really phones is the more way to go now. Should have learned Java.

October 21 2012. it's 6:30 in the am on the eastern side of the States. Temps are in the mid 50's. Feels so good I opened up the sliding glass door next to me and have the fan blowing in the cool goodness. It's a gorgeous morning.

nothing to really do this morning and i'm bored out of my mind. I guess I could get motivated but that sounds to much like work. Hate mornings I awaken early when I don't have to and then I have nothing to do. Don't want to watch tv as there is probably nothing to watch. the forums are kinda dead this am and I'm contemplating on trying to just go back to sleep. I could watch a movie I guess if I can't get back to sleep or find something more fun to do.

yup :D

it's 9:16 pm now.

i'm trying to write a paper but just can't get started. it's the first line that's always the hardest :p

I know.. It is hard to. Keep thinking about that first line

For me.. I like to get started.. By just type anything on the subject.. Just don't care about importance or order..

Get as much out as you can in 1 hr.
Then walk away.. Go do something else: watch tv, eat lunch, anything

Then come back and read it again. That helps me get the outline started and the first paragraph

Back on topic..
Visiting Houston.. Headed to market to get some fruit

Got up at 6am and put some ribs on the smoker. Did coffee until nine.. wired.. so I went to work. Mowed a few lawns and generally cleaned up a couple more. Came home and turned the ribs and made some potato salad. Picked some peppers and made a flaming hot cheese dip. I have my ribs steaming in apple juice now while I do some AF and consume some brews. Mostly a lazy beautiful day.
