Help Need help with restoration...

So I had my Admire rooted, deleted and backed up all of the bloatware and then I also deleted and backed up some of principal apps including the texting app. So then my dad took the phone and before I could restore the texting app and the other bloatware he factory reset it from the phone. Now the phone doesn't have texting on it and I need to know how to get that back. That's the only one I'm really worried about. The stupid bloatware I'm not worried about, but I need texting back NOW please.

simple fix. if you used Titanium Backup to backup the apps then use it again to restore them. If you saved the app using a file explorer such as root explorer then just place the app within the sd card, then move it to folder titled root(make sure to change the folder to rewritable) then change the apk's permission to match the system apps permission. the entire Read column will be checked for Owner, Group, and Others. In the Write colummn only the Owner box will be checked. then grab the apk and move it into the system/apps folders(make sure that it is set to rewriteable as well or you wont be able to put the apk file in there) then just reboot the phone and if you did it successfully then yyaaayy.

also this belongs in the all things forums. . . as it deals with rooting.
whats with new people posting threads in the wrong section of the forums. so many threads that belong in the root forums are being posted in the regular forums

Sorry I figured it belonged under support more. Is there any way to move it?

Anyway what if I used nobloatfree??

if it involves anything with rooting them it doesnt belong here lol and no only the Mods can move threads.

im not familiar with no bloat free so i dont know, my guess is that if its an app that can backup and restore then yes you should be able to.
