Help Camera (almost) always crashing?

Especially when using the front camera! The app will crash. I can't use it with Skype OR ooVoo. Also when using the back camera, if I have flash on, the phone will say the battery is dead and then turn off. So then I'll turn it back on and it has half full battery. Wtf?

I've actually been having a prob with A LOT of apps crashing the past couple of days. This problem isn't just limited to my camera. But no other apps cause my phone to shut down.

My phone is rooted with CM 7 TG Reloaded. I really liked this ROM at first but now I think I am having problems with it. I never had these problems with the stock ROM so I'm pretty positive it is not the phone itself. Any suggestions? If I should try another ROM, please link me some great ones that are FULLY functional - no betas or alphas - and that are also compatible with this phone. I'm really too lazy to go through them all myself lol plus it's late. Thanks

TG Reloaded is quite old. I suggest MTDEV CM7. It's incredibly smooth and I doubt you'll run into any major problems.

Sounds like it's time to wipe & reflash! You could just restore from a backup if you have one from when everything was working well, or you can take the opportunity to upgrade to one of the newer ROMs. I used TG reloaded for a long while & never had issues tho- I wonder if it could be an app that was updated/loaded lately...
