Yeah you're right this is totally new. I think I got through odin and cwm successfully but i can't seem to boot into revovery to flash the root file. Its home vol up and power right?

Edit: nvm finally got it. Fyi for other newbies like me theres a internal and external sd card to choose from in recovery. Make sure u choose accordingly.

ok thanks for letting me know i used the cwm builder for that so ill pull the file. when i get cwm official touch will be included. also whomever is stalking my downloads folder :( n4zty hasnt even started to download that zip

No worries. I got kind of scared when it went into a reboot loop. I saw myself paying that $129 insurance fee XD good thing it was just booting back into the OS =p

So I'm looking at my backup folder in cmw and my entire backup file is only 20.3mb. Can this be right? I know it works I restored to it.

All my other previous backups from other phones have been at least 20 times that.

depends, cwm uses a new system. make a backup and 3-4 days later decided to make a new one? it scans your files sees what teh changes are and proceeds to only back up the changed stuff :)

Yeah.. No contest.
I'm the one who mentioned it.
L0GiC4L 3ViL, the HowardForums moderator who joked about it hasn't even brought it up again...
But he was thinking of having a contest for metroPCS users to attract people...
I don't think I can talk about it more though, since I don't think promoting competing forums is within the guidelines for AF, understandably. ;)
