If you have the paid version of ROM Manager and choose the Ultimate Droid ROM, you'll have the option of using the Ultimate Droid Customizer. Basically, it allows you to customize certain aspects of your ROM, such as the kernel, special live wallpapers, and even the font! I absolutely love UD, and this level of customization is exactly what I love. Check it out when you get the chance, it's sweet!

I was a big fan of the UD rom...I just can't stand giving up cyanogen...even for a few hours

I'll give it a shot when I can...along with the ROM Fab made...and BB 1.0 when that comes out...and the desire ROM...when its stable...geesh...too many I need to flash!

Actually I use Cyanogen/Koush mostly. Just helping Pete get some stuff working on his ROM. UD is one ROM I have never used or ever will though.

I know Pete is a friend of yours...but try to be unbiased and answer this:

Could Pete's 1.0 replace CM on your phone? I'm excited about it just because Pete does not seem to talk his stuff up...and I've heard just enough buzz...my curiosity is peaked!

Honestly I will have to give BB 1.0 a few days to see how it does. I will have trouble losing all the perks of the CM ROM but some of the stuff Pete has been working in is pretty amazing and no one else has it. Pete knows I use CM but he also knows I am brutally honest and will tell him the truth, friendship won't interfere with what ROM I recommend to everyone in the end, but it will never be UD.
