anyone carrying Note 2 on their belt?

I'm curious to see how that will look. My current pouch is such a chick magnet already, that having what looks like a small black text book stuck to my belt may be too much for the ladies to handle. I will have to buy a bigger stick....

Well I only have one lady in my life and she already thinks I'm nuts! For me it's more about function than fashion but for those looking for discretion I can see how this beast is hard to hide.

I literally screamed out loud from laughter. THAT was funny!!!
I don't know that I'd want to wear mine on a belt clip. Feel more secure with it in my pocket; more so because it's brand spanking new.

I had my MoPho in a holstered defender case for over 2 years and it looks brand new to this day. It has been through hell between surviving my 4 and 6 year old kids to falling numerous times. Seidio has even come out with a waterproof case called obex for the S3 that's probably in the works for the note2. Personally I'd rather have my pockets free for my other "survival" gear.

If you can survive a 4 & 6 yr old, you can survive anything. :D

i see this thread soon turning into a belt clip accessory listing thread so I changed the prefix to state accessory from general.

TS

Just got email from Seidio, saying they have NO plans to make a case for the Note 2 :(

No way! I can't believe it. They make cases for everything and not for the note 2? Sales of their note 1 cases must have been abysmal then. Very sad and stupid :( :stupid:

My 2 cents, I feel many traditional suppliers of PDA / Phone accessories have reservations about offering accessories/ Cases for the Note 2. But myself, as a longtime iPhone user (age 57) just now making the switch to Android with the Note 2, After an underwhelming iPhone 5 release. I know I'm part of a massive baby boomer tech market segment who is just discovering this "Phablet form factor".
Also the Note 2 is having a well financed product launch I'm seeing more online ads for the Note 2 most web sites I go( although that may just be a function of google ad metrics). Regardless, I believe the Note 2 will sell like hot cakes to the segment of aging techies with typical aging vision. Nothing about the experience falls under ther the classification of fashion statement, it's all about remaining competitive and relevant, and finding the tools that will help enable that goal.

If a mass write in campaign occurs, I would think Seidio would change their mind about Note 2 cases.

I think they already have as they now have cases listed for the Note 2 as "coming soon"

You are incorrect.

SEIDIO | Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Currently they're planning on making the Active and Surface for the Note 2 as well as a holster. I would hope they'll make a couple more cases for the Note 2 but who knows. I'm waiting for the Active Combo myself.

Maybe the one who was incorrect was the person who sent the email saying they had no intentions of making cases for the Note2.

I think the idea of carrying it on your belt is great. It will open up a world of opportunity to people who want to steal it and thus obtain a phone they could never hope to afford. Plus the possibility of impromptu "drop tests"
I completely understand what you mean.
I challenge anyone to take my phone. Particularly from my belt!
How noble of you....how fast can you run? Bally's thoughts seem like snatch & grab. I've seen a lot of that & it's not just phones they're taking. By the time they've hauled ass with your stuff, you're still thinking.....wth just happened?

Back in my Treo days I kind of enjoyed showing off.....I mean wearing my phone on my hip. These days I'd rather it be in my pocket.
