Music Streaming / Stuttering Issue with ICS stock?

I've noticed some serious sound issues since going with v7.

With Gmusic, songs are downloading to cache as normal, but they're stuttering, as if the files are incomplete. Never happened with these files before and they were cached on a solid LTE connection.

With apps like Sirus, the channel will be playing off a cached stream and suddenly glitch and/or stutter extremely fast. At first, I thought it was the os killing apps for more ram, but it's occurred with 200mb free, so that's not it.

I get the feeling the kernel is doing both issues. So has anyone encountered this and if so, did installing the unlocked bootloader/kernel solve it?

I attributed some of my sirius issues to me restoring that apps data because I'm too lazy to redo my favorite channels, but I wiped data and the issue remained, so I'm baffled.

Do you always listen live? I start most shows over and that's when I have the issue.

give my rom a whirl and see if you have those issues... i removed most stock apps and bloatware.. couldve been something conflicting
