Samsung Galaxy S2 Coming to VM in November 2012!

We're definitely getting the SII.
I'm receiving collateral on it.

Not sure when it'll be up for sale in stores and online though. Pretty soon I'm thinking considering I'm being told to put out the clings already.

P.S These are pictures from the mandatory package that shows what collateral I've received from the shipment.

Outdated technology+looks photoshopped

I've been confirmed by a member who actually came to my store physically.

Thanks for thinking I'd be that malicious.

P.S Want to verify? Call me Monday. 210-680-4430. My name is Lucia.
Better yet, Go to Boost Mobile and look for stores near 78238.
You'll see that number.

Any idea on the cost? And I assume the "4G" is Wimax?

...And I assume the "4G" is Wimax?

The Sprint version is definitely WiMax, according to the specs for the Sprint version - if you click the "features" tab, there is a graphic that reads "4G WiMax".

I realize that's not a definitive answer to your question about the VM version, but in my opinion, the most likely outcome is that we're going to get that same WiMax phone with whatever minor software changes are necessary to optimize the phone for VM. Your guess is as good as mine, but I think the smart money is on WiMax.

But can you get it on a cheaper plan? $35 is a pretty attractive deal.

T-Mobile $30/month, no contract, unlimited data, but 5GB @ 4G speeds. HSPA+ is far faster than WiMax in most areas where the two services are available from all the studies I've seen. IMHO, far better deal than the long in the tooth G2 (unless you absolutely need 32GB memory).

Why wouldn't I buy the Nexus 4 16 GB instead? It's a much better value.

I think you'd be happier with the GSM Nexus 4. Definitely faster on T-Mobile than with VM USA. My speeds on VM were no where near the speeds I get now. No bloatware, OS updates before anyone else, can take the phone with you and change carriers if you're not happy with your current.
