I'm rocking the oem flip case! I know, not so great but I'm waiting for otterbox to get off there collective asses and make a defender already!

I have the OEM Flip case as well as some screen covers. I have my GN2 on pre order from BB. what are the pros and cons for this case? At $40 I might just take it back to the sprint store if it's not a good case and wait for an otterbox.

It's ok. More aesthetic than practical. Offers no real protection. I don't have huge hands and I find the flip cover uncomfortable when using the phone.

Yes but it's magnetic... and of course on the back (yeah I know, stating the obvious.. lol) Interfering with NFC would be a concern, methinx.

I just ordered (Galaxy Note) . Not sure how long it will take to ship, but once I get it I'll be sure to post a few "real life" pictures (as opposed to the ones on the website which make EVERYTHING look perfect, which I'm sure we all know isn't always true) and describe it.


Edit: Also (Galaxy Note) seems like a great deal when you take off the 50%....for 25$ plus shipping you get a second 3100mAh battery, and a cable and charger so you can charge it out of your phone. Great for people whose travels outlast the ridiculous battery life

Good move!!!!! I think more and more people are getting their accessories before the phone arrives. Probably has a lot to do with the late release so why not already be prepared instead of getting accessories after the phone comes.

I know that's right. I ordered the Samsung leather sleeve a couple days before getting the phone, but it didn't arrive in time. I'm using a temporary sleeve fashioned out of a bubble mailer to protect it. My wife thinks I've lost my mind.

It's not what you're probably imagining. The phone happens to fit just right in the 6" dimension of a 6.00" x 9.25" mailer, so I put it into one and cut off the excess envelope on the 9.25" dimension.

You're thinking some form of bubble wrap and duct tape, aren't you?

Ordered a cheap TPU case from ebay for $4.00. Shipped today and should be here this week.
My phone will be here Friday from T-mobile.
I also ordered cheap screen protectors from ebay but im worried they wont be here by Friday so I decided to to jump the gun and ordered the new Oleophobic screen protector from SGP with priority shipping?? Good choice?

My order should ship tomorrow and be here by friday correct? I havent ordered from SGP in awhile....
Just wont use my device until I get a case and screen protector. Ive learned that lesson before. Brand new BlackBerry I took out of the box and fell to the floor. Scuffs on a new device killed me

I got my purchase confirmation email saying I would receive a tracking # "soon" but haven't received one yet, and if I go to the "track your order" page on the samsung site, my order is nowhere to be found, my CC was charged though.

I ordered Saturday and received my tracking number today. They were pretty quick actually. By the way, prior to receiving the tracking information today I checked my order status and my order wasn't found either.

Yea.....I was about ready to take donations and get you a case but then I thought $300-600 phone wrapped in $0.10 plastic......hmph! he can get his own case.

That Seidio case looks real nice. I saw a review awhile back and I think it had a flimsy plastic stand. The metal one looks far more robust. I use the stand on my Evo on a daily basis.
