Help photos are small

So my wife has the incredible 4g and she has taken a lot of photos with it. I made sure it was at the max 8mp resolution and that it was saving to the SD card instead of the phone memory as soon as i bought it for her.

Problem: 500 photos later she now wants to make her facebook albums and when we transfer them onto her computer, the vast majority are tiny thumbnails. Some of them when you double click will blow up to a big size but most are like a 1x1 inch or 2x2 inch thumbnail box.

Anyone else experience this? is there a fix? I've never had this happen on any android phone i've owned. No motorola droid, no samsung galaxy, etc.

I have run into this as well, but finally found them in another folder. Off hand I cannot remember where, will have to look later and will report back if no one else gets to it first.

Thanks. Yeah i actually found 2 folders. One was in a folder called thumbnails (after you drilled down like 4 levels) and understandably ALL the pictures were small. Then i found another folder called 100 something and it had the photos and this is the one where a few were full size and the rest were tiny like thumbnails.

it just sucks because we had it on max resolution and never changed it...

If you could look into it i'd appreciate it :)

the pics (by default) are stored in \DCIM\100MEDIA... off the top of my head i don't know where any thumbnails stored.

are you sure the resolution setting was not changed? i've not heard of anyone else having this issue. have you checked the resolution settings and taken any new pics?

I mean i guess i can't be 100% sure my wife didn't go into the settings and change the resolution to something smaller but i have no idea why she would? I have checked the setting since she told me the problem and it was already on max. it's frustrating because they were disneyworld pics...oh well.
