Google Wallet

I know from having an S3 on AT&T that Google wallet isn't available, but I'm unsure if it's because they're blocking it. Wouldn't surprise me. I'm sticking with PayPal for now. Check it out if you haven't already.

AT&T's trying to block S3 owners and most others from installing Google Wallet because they're coming out with their own mobile payment NFC option called ISIS. I believe it's AT&T and maybe Verizon??

Not sure of potential release timeframe but would be sometime in 2013.

Incidentally, it's not hard or detrimental to sideload Wallet on to your S3. Just go over to the AT&T S3 forums on XDA and there's a whole thread there dedicated to nothing but the install of Wallet, complete with needed files and install instructions.

I've done it and used it for payment at gas stations, convenience stores and supermarkets but found myself using it so rarely that I just froze it with TiBu.
